Joe Wheaton is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Hanahan, South Carolina, grinding it out as a full-time musician across the Lowcountry. The youngest of nine kids, he learned early how to be loud, honest, and hard to ignore—traits that show up front and center in his music.

Blending alternative rock with Americana roots, Joe’s songs are built on raw emotion, driving guitars, and lived-in stories. He fronts the original rock project OK Chief and has cut his teeth in multiple bands over the years, shaping a sound that’s equal parts grit and soul.

When he’s not on stage, Joe’s a husband and girl dad, but once the amps come on, it’s all volume, sweat, and truth. Whether it’s a stripped-down room or a packed bar, Joe Wheaton delivers music that hits hard and sticks with you.
